Duane Sevieri, a custom home builder, owner and manager of Sevieri Builders, has been designing and building customer inspired custom homes in Anacortes, Sequim, Whidbey Island, the San Juan Islands and Puget Sound-Olympic Peninsula area for 25 years. As a third generation tradesman, Duane has grown up in the building industry. With an education that is both hands on and passed down, Duane utilizes a unique combination of vintage and modern day craftsmanship.

Debi Sevieri’s background is actually in the medical field. Working along side some of the areas’ premier cardiologists and in a fast paced hospital (MED SURG, OB, and CCU), she is able to keep a steady flow of patients, while at the same time demonstrating her natural ability to focus on her patients needs, making them feel comfortable, wanted and content. Her attributes are an essential part of the success of Sevieri Builders.

Duane and Debi combine their talents to create a very effective team. They have time proven relations with quality minded associates and suppliers including engineers and specialists, as well as respective specialty subs. Their utilization of these quality and service oriented folks helps to spread out the creative prism, liability and commitment to excellence.  Each team member has a vested interest and unique signature that when well managed, becomes part of the whole.

Sevieri Builders does not maintain a recurring payroll. They customize and develop a team for each individual project. The company maintains a large data base of subcontractors throughout the areas they work and have worked. Their system is a recipe for continuity, quality control and peer accountability. Sevieri Builders creates good contractual relationships with all subs involved in each and every project. They endeavor to stay small enough to provide a comprehensive, hands-on approach to each job. They strive to keep their overhead costs low, remain large enough to maintain access to all building resources and provide the client with every competitive advantage in selection and pricing.

Sevieri Builders diverse experience includes traditional Northwest Cedar Homes, contemporary and Modern Country Homes. Combinations of timber, metal, stone, glass, prescriptive path designs and structurally engineered paths are all components of their hybrid signature Northwest design, which has become their specialty and provides them the exciting privilege of creating a one of a kind structure for clients.

On a personal note…just a little about how we think or possibly a reflection to our character. We are very family oriented, love our children and look forward to grandchildren in just a few years. We believe that parenting is our greatest responsibility and so far, so good. We are teaching our children what we believe in, that all the answers to life are found in the Bible, hard work–mental and physical, respect of self and others, generosity and helping one another, self reliance, lessons from the past through astute study of history, never forgetting how this great nation came to be or those that have sacrificed and are sacrificing today, resistance to greed and envy, standing for what’s right no matter the odds, and optimistic patriotism.
